Giant thermometers

Over 100 degrees in the Mojave Desert
40.5℃でも、暑くない?

In summer, it seemed to reach over 120 degrees Fahrenheit (48.9℃) there.
The thermometer has showed 105 degrees (40.5℃) at Quartzsite, AZ
But it was removed from the tower recently, (Google Maps)
since Chevron Quartzsite has taken over former Quartzsite ARCO.
